Em’s obsession with embroidery took off in their early twenties, and the love of the craft has continued ever since. They enjoy creating realistic pieces, specifically of moths and butterflies, but are branching out into pet portraits and floral arrangements. Em also enjoys incorporating gothic elements into their artwork, subverting the stereotypical embroidery designs of pastel flowers and cutesy designs (which are, of course, glorious in their own right).
